QTH, the village Leogang:

My QTH is located about 45km south-west of the city of Salzburg and about 105km east of Innsbruck in the district of Salzburg – Pinzgau. Leogang has about 3.200 inhabitants, reaches from 750m up to 2.634m above sea level and has approximately 90 square-kilometers. The summit Birnhorn is with 2.634m the hightest point. The famous ski area Saalbach-Hinterglemm/Leogang is reachable very easy. The nearest town is Saalfelden with about 18.000 inhabitants – Saalfelden is the 3rd-biggest city in Salzburg after the city Salzburg itself and Hallein. Capital of our district (Pinzgau) is Zell am See.
